Hi John, Steering Committee,

We don't normally secure the member section sites, but if you need it, we'd be happy to add a SSL certificate to the amqp.org domain.

We can procure a certificate for this domain, probably going the wildcard certificate route to give us flexibility.  The expense to do so is nominal,  a 3 year certificate is 475 USD / year. 

If this issue is sufficiently important to you, can you add this to your next Steering Committee agenda and approve the expenditure from your budget (which is very under-spent this year)
