Subject: RE: [amqp-ms] Revisions to existing AMQP TC charter

Hi Gordon,

At the Newcastle workshop we discussed the idea of standardizing a minimal layered management protocol for CRUD-style operations on broker entities. This would likely include the definition of the management target node name and the basic format of the management request and response messages. The idea is that the basic management mechanism is consistent across broker implementations while the entities being managed may differ depending on the messaging model employed by a particular broker. That said, I would expect that there would be some level of consistency so that the request to create a queue with the broker's default settings would look the same for any broker. Make sense?

Thanks,
Dave.

What do you mean by 'resource management'?
