Core charter and the new AMQP Bindings and Mappings TC charter

Hi,

At the member section meeting on Wednesday, the MS discussed the revised core charter and the new AMQP Bindings and Mappings TC charter (enclosed). It was agreed that the document(s) were approaching a ‘ready state’ [1]. It was also agreed that we should send these documents to OASIS administration to request guidance on next steps and to ensure that the content met with OASIS standards.

If anyone has any additional comments then please do respond. Thanks to those who have already sent back their comments. The authors of these documents will capture and take forward.

Attached is a draft of the revisions to the AMQP TC charter (as part of the re-chartering effort). Please review and provide your comments particularly on the proposed scope of work by July 25 if possible. We need to add more details on the scope of work on the various deliverables (global addressing, resource management, re-authentication, federation, and any other specs we care to enlist).

Note, you can for now ignore the supplemental non-normative information (about statements of support, first F2F meeting, etc.) in section 2 that follows the charter; these can be filled in later.
