OASIS AMQP Member Section Steering Committee 2013 Election Timetable and Process.

Hi,

 

As described in the OASIS AMQP Member Section Rules of Procedure, each year we have a number of seats which expire.    In September 2013 we have 6 member seats which are expiring, and therefore we are required to host an election process to fill these seats.

 

Below outlines the timetable and systems process which we will follow to execute this process.

 

Phase	Description	Duration	Dates
Phase 1	Call for nominations – minimum of 6 candidates required	Minimum 14 days	6th of Sept – 19th of Sept
Phase 2	Contingency for closing and opening of phase 1 and 2	2 business days
Phase 3	Open electronic ballot	14 days	23rd of Sept – 6th of Oct
Phase 4	Election of office bearing position at the next StC meeting	-	9th of October

 

Notes:

1.       Anyone considering putting themselves forward and would like to understand a little better the commitment and effort required, please reach out to a current StC member or myself.

2.       Anyone wishing to self nominate I can assist those individuals navigate the process.

3.       Next member section steering committee meeting will be the 9^th of October – hence the timetable above.
