OASIS plans to issue a press release to announce the approval of AMQP 1.0 by ISO/IEC JTC 1. We have targeted a distribution date of Thursday, 1 May to coincide with the publication of the standard by JTC 1.

If you represent a Foundational or Sponsor-level organization participating in the
AMQP TC or MS, you may submit a quote (75-words or less) in support of this announcement. Please email quotes to me, including a name and title at your organization to whom the quote can be attributed, by Tuesday, 29 April. Sponsor quotes will be compiled in a quote sheet that will be published on the OASIS and AMQP web sites and linked from the press release.
Organizations that are not Sponsor-level members are also invited to provide endorsements. When the press release is issued, OASIS will start a thread on the AMQP LinkedIn Group, inviting others to post quotes directly. These quotes will be republished by OASIS on the AMQP web site.
