Here is the latest JIRA issues status (as of May 15^th) and associated actions:

·        Issues in Closed state

o   On May 8th: AMQP-64, AMQP-66

o   On May 15: AMQP-63, AMQP-67, AMQP-68

o   ACTION: Editors to move the issues above to Closed status.

·        Issues in Open state

o   AMQP-62, AMQP-65

·        New issues that need to be created

o   AMQP-69 (about lack of use of approved specification template)

• ACTION: Editors to create a new issue AMQP-69 and reflect the proposed resolution: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/amqp/email/archives/201205/msg00045.html.

 

Following that (actions above), here are the next steps and associated actions:

·        ACTION: TC members to review the resolutions to AMQP-62, AMQP-65 and AMQP-69.

·        ACTION: Chairs to prepare the comment disposition log, post it to the TC mailing list, and reach out to the public review commenter.

·        ACTION: Editors to produce the specification packages (Committee Specification Draft 02 and Committee Specification Public Review Draft 02).

·        During the May 29^th TC meeting:

o   Close remaining issues: AMQP-62, AMQP-65, AMQP-69, and others (if any)

o   Approve Committee Specification Draft 02 and agree to start 15 days of public review

      We plan to do that using two separate motions [1] and [2] as described below. The first motion [1] is to approve the latest Working Draft as Committee Specification Draft 02. The second motion [2] is to approve Committee Specification Draft 02 as Committee Specification Public Review Draft 02 and initiate 15 days of public review. Both these ballots require a Full Majority (more than 50% of all voting members) to vote YES.

      To clarify, the TC may, over time, approve any number of Committee Specification Drafts. The particular Committee Specification Draft that is approved to go to public review is called a Committee Specification Public Review Draft. At this time, we intend to approve Committee Specification Draft 02 as Committee Specification Public Review Draft 02 and use it for public review.
