Subject: OASIS INDUSTRY EVENT UPDATE: Just Four Weeks to XML Europe 2000

From: pjanhunen@idealliance.org
FYI: OASIS is proud to be a co-host of this event.

Summer's almost here, and so is this premier XML event

Like summer, Europe's premier XML event is just around the corner. "The Many
Faces of XML" runs from 12-16 June at Le Palais des Congres in Paris,
France. Pre-register online until 26 May at www.xmleurope.com, or register
on site after that date.

Don't miss this chance to:

*	Join event sponsors IBM, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, W3C, Arbortext, Poet
Software, XML.com, TAGA, Micrografx, Adobe, Software AG, Enigma, Infoteria
and OASIS, and learn the latest in technical developments, management
approaches and standards work in the ever-expanding world of XML.
*	Hear from speakers like Christian Lienert of SAP, Kenneth Brooks of Barnes
& Noble, Edd Dumbill of XML.com, and Bob Sutor of the ebXML initiative, as
they sketch out the present and future of XML-enabled e-commerce.
*	Find out the latest on W3C, OASIS and IDEAlliance work, including XML
Schemas, DOM, ICE, PRISM, ebXML, and much more.
*	Visit exhibit space featuring more than 40 leading-edge companies and
their ready-to-wear XML fashions for summer. Check out the latest list of
exhibitors at www.xmleurope.com.
*	Wade into the details of topics like XML programming in Java, XML in Perl,
and the W3C Document Object Model in small tutorial sessions on Monday 12
June, one day before the rest of the conference.

Add in the sites and sounds of Paris in June, and this is the one XML event
for you this summer. Check out www.xmleurope.com for registration and travel
details, or email us at jharnad@gca.org with questions. For more information
on GCA, its conferences, and its technical work, visit us at www.gca.org or
contact Pete Janhunen at +1 703 519 8190 or pjanhunen@gca.org.
