Hello,

Documation 2000 is currently seeking high quality, cutting-edge proposals
for tutorials and conference sessions. Presentations should be innovative,
with a strong focus on new and emerging technologies and related business
issues. Proposals based on first-hand experience and practical content that
offer tips, tricks, techniques and hard facts are preferable. Proposals that
focus on current or future trends and address practical problems faced by
today's professionals take precedence over just theory.

Documation Toronto will be held November 6 to 8 at the Toronto Hilton Hotel.
This annual event has been designed for executive managers, developers, and
information specialist seeking to discover, understand, and implement
eBusiness solutions.

Documation offers 3 days of tutorials, conference sessions, seminars and
exposition. Potential conference speakers are hereby requested to submit a
brief proposal of their presentation to Documation. Of specific interest are
presentations on any of the below-listed topics. The presentations should
not exceed 45 minutes.

Tutorials will be three hours in duration. The chair and conference
committee of Documation will review your abstracts and proposals.

We are highly interested in case studies: preference will be given to
companies that can provide case studies presented by users who have
implemented high-end solutions within their own company.

There will be four tracks with the following themes: Extreme Technical,
Applications, Case Study and Management.  The following applications and
technologies topics are the main focus of the event:

	*	Corporate Portals
	*	Knowledge Management
	*	Business to Business applications
	*	eCommerce Document Solutions
	*	Business Intelligence
	*	CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
	*	Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP)
	*	Intranet/ Extranet Business applications

The technologies used to build and put together the above applications are:

	*	XML
	*	Content Management
	*	Metadata Management and Strategies
	*	Taxonomy
	*	Electronic Document Management (EDM)
	*	Workflow
	*	eForms
	*	Groupware
	*	Web Publishing

If you feel that you possess the necessary qualifications, please submit
your proposal in electronic format to Lina Carriero: lcarriero@interdoc.ca

Proposal Requirements

	*	Speaker's name and complete contact information
	*	Title and brief abstract of presentation (approximately 250
words)
	*	Specify whether presentation is a tutorial or a conference
session
	*	Target themes: Extreme Technical, Applications, Case Study
or Management
	*	Speaker's brief biography
	*	Speaker's photograph in an electronic format (EPS, JPG,
TIFF)

Deadline: Presentation abstracts must be submitted before Friday, July 14,
2000.

Please Note: No sales pitches will be selected, all presentations should be
vendor-neutral.
