(XyEnterprise), a leading developer and innovator of XML content management and publishing software, announced today that financial printing service bureau Composition Services Group of Braintree, MA is remotely operating, supporting and administering XyEnterprise's XML Professional Publisher (XPP) software for geographically dispersed clients using Citrix® MetaFrame™ thin client access technology. In addition to Composition Services, XyEnterprise is also using the Citrix MetaFrame technology for remote client support and maintenance service of the Content@, Content@XML and XPP platforms. Citrix technology enables Composition Services to remotely access and operate their client's server-based XPP applications. Since these applications are installed, updated and maintained on the individual clients' servers instead of onsite at Composition Services, the cost and complexity of administration are significantly reduced. The Citrix solution enables high application performance over bandwidth-constrained connections and greater data security for the Composition Services clients that publish with XPP. Mike Boyle, director of publishing technologies for Composition Services stated, "Citrix has enabled us to gain remote access to companies that use XPP and facilitate their business and publishing processes. Our staff has a wealth of experience with XyEnterprise products, so we can broaden our client's capabilities and give them access to a larger staff than they might otherwise have. I think the attraction to companies is twofold. First, the data remains in-house, on their servers, where it's being produced on their equipment. It never has to leave the premises.
