XML Global Technologies, Inc. Begins Trading on the OTC:BB
Reports First Quarter Revenues of $485,000

Vancouver, B.C., November 24th, 2000 - XML Global Technologies, Inc. (XMLG
OTC:BB) (www.xmlglobal.com), architects and builders of XML powered
e-business platforms, announced today that its stock has been accepted for
trading on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board market under the symbol XMLG.
The Company has registered 24.5 million shares under a prospectus that
became effective on November 13, 2000. The prospectus relating to these
securities may be obtained from Westminster Securities Corp. The Company has
27.5 million shares of common stock outstanding with fully-diluted common
stock of 38.5 million shares.

In the three months ended September 30, 2000 XML Global Technologies, Inc.
recorded revenues of $485,000 up from $9,200 for the corresponding period in
1999 and up from $22,100 for the preceding quarter. "This strong first
quarter revenue performance demonstrates the relevance and focus of our
business plan", said Peter Shandro, CEO of XML Global. "During the past 12
months we have positioned the Company within the rapidly expanding market
for e-business infrastructure tools and web services and this record revenue
is market validation of our efforts. With a growing client base and an
aggressive marketing drive scheduled to roll out in early 2001", continued
Shandro, "we anticipate continued strong quarter on quarter revenue growth
throughout the next year."

XML Global's revenue growth was primarily driven by increased XML e-business
solution sales as well a contract to build an XML-powered B2B exchange for
an Asian net market maker. The net loss for the quarter was $381,000 which
is a 55% increase over the first quarter of fiscal 2000, but a 17% decrease
over the immediately preceding quarter. Continued net losses relate to XML
Global's ongoing investment in research and development, business
development, sales and marketing and reflect focused commitment to position
