Subject: Update on DataChannel

Hello,

DataChannel, a leading provider of XML-based Enterprise Information Portal
(EIP) solutions, has recently partnered with several organizations to
extend its DataChannel Server (DCS) capabilities across several facets of
the enterprise. We would like to take this opportunity to update you on
these partnerships and also highlight what each will bring to enterprise
organizations and DCS.

Today, DataChannel partnered with Talk2.com to provide its customers with
voice-navigation access through the DataChannel EIP. This will allow
customers to access important enterprise information using a telephone. The
companies have entered into a joint development and marketing agreement
integrating DCS 4.1 and Talk2's ViPrNET (tm) (pronounced "Vipernet") voice
infrastructure.

Recently, DataChannel and SeeBeyond announced that they are co-developing
an
e*Way (tm) Intelligent Adapter for DCS, which will enable the rapid
connectivity of disparate CRM, ERP and legacy back-office applications with
databases, documents, spreadsheets and Web content. As a result, companies
can more easily access data within their enterprise portal.

Also, DataChannel announced its partnership with Broadreach Consulting, a
Web integrator. Broadreach has joined DataChannel's XpertPartner Program,
which provides a framework for EIP best practices and solutions. As
partners, Broadreach and DataChannel will work together to deliver
enterprise portal solutions to Fortune 1000 companies.

Last month, DataChannel announced that it will work with Interwoven to
integrate DCS 4.1 with TeamSite 4.5, Interwoven's enterprise-class content
management platform. The integration will bring together the critical
functions of content management and content presentation and interaction.

In addition, DataChannel announced its participation as a member of the
Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) Project. The UDDI
Project is an industry initiative designed to broaden B2B integration and
commerce on the Internet. As a UDDI advisor, DataChannel will help explore
related standards and technologies to determine how they can apply to
future Web product and service offerings.

If you are interested in learning more about how any or all of these
partnerships are enhancing DataChannel's offerings, please call me, as I
would be happy to schedule a meeting for you to speak with a DataChannel
executive.

Warm regards,
Lori Landau
