SPRINGBOARD 2001: SILICON VALLEY SELECTS NIMBLE TECHNOLOGY
TO PRESENT AT FEBRUARY VENTURE FORUM FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS

(Seattle, Washington, USA-January 18, 2001)-The Forum for Women
Entrepreneurs and the National Women's Business Council today announced it
has selected Nimble Technology (www.nimble.com) as one of the two dozen
women-led companies that will present their businesses to an audience of
west coast corporate, venture and angel investors at the Springboard 2001:
Silicon Valley Venture Forum. Part of a national initiative to increase
investments in women-led firms and facilitate new deal flow to investors,
Springboard 2001: Silicon Valley will take place on February 1, 2001 at the
Oracle Conference Center in Redwood Shores, California. The 100
participants in earlier forums in the Springboard 2000 series raised over
$350MM for 100 presenting companies, through events in Silicon Valley,
Washington DC and Boston in 2000.

Presenting companies for Springboard 2001: Silicon Valley were chosen from a
field of over 335 applicants by a committee of the region's leading venture
capitalists and service providers. The February 1 forum will showcase nearly
two-dozen women entrepreneurs seeking seed, early and later stage funding
for their high growth businesses. Presenting companies represent a range of
industry segments and applications, including Internet infrastructure,
software, wireless, CRM, middleware, networking, biotechnology and more, and
are headquartered throughout the west coast region-from Seattle to San
Diego.

"The Springboard 2000 series demonstrates that the face of entrepreneurship
has changed for good," said Denise Brosseau, CEO and co-founder of the Forum
for Women Entrepreneurs and National Host of the Springboard 2000 Venture
Series. "The women chosen to present at Springboard 2001: Silicon Valley
represent the next wave of highly successful entrepreneurs in this
incredibly dynamic, high-tech rich region, and offer a tremendous investment
opportunity for angel, corporate and venture investors."

"Nimble Technology is building the next generation of data access and
integration tools based on XML. For us to be chosen out of hundreds of
applicants is further confirmation of the power of our vision, the strength
of our business plan and the quality of our management team," said Suzan
DelBene, CEO of Nimble Technology. "We are deeply appreciative of the
opportunity Springboard has given us to share our story with the investment
community."
