Subject: OASIS Member News: XML Global Announces Second Quarter Revenues

XML Global Announces Second Quarter Revenues
             ----------------------------------------------

Vancouver, B.C., February 20th, 2001 - XML Global Technologies, Inc. (XMLG
OTC:BB) (www.xmlglobal.com), a product focused, XML powered, e-business
platform company, is pleased to announce second quarter 2000 revenues of
$327,000 up from $14,000 for the corresponding period in 1999. The six month
figures ending December 31st, 1999 are $812,000 up from $23,000 in Q2 1999
and underscore the strong progress XML Global is making in furthering its
strategic growth initiatives.

"The decrease in our Q2 revenues over Q1 is not unexpected," explained Peter
Shandro, CEO of XML Global. "Over the last three months we have been working
hard to complete an important B2B contract for a major Asian net market
maker while at the same time finalizing our strategic marketing initiative
for 2001. We have had some early success in this area with the recent
announcement of a contract with the United States Defense Finance Accounting
Service. With a growing client base, proven XML based products and an
aggressive marketing plan for 2001," continued Shandro, "we are anticipating
strong future growth."

XML Global had a strong quarter making solid progress in several areas.
Highlights include the technology development alliance with Aztec Software
and the product alliance agreement with Altova Inc., both announced in
October. More recent developments include the acquisition of Bluestream
Database Software Corp., which closed in January, and the DFAS contract
announced on the 15th of February. XML Global has also added management
strength in key areas with the December appointment of Gordon Ebanks as
Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing as well as the appointment
to the board of directors of Dick Hardt, CEO and founder of ActiveState Tool
Corp.

On the product side, XML Global has made significant strides, positioning
GoXML(tm) Foundation as an early entrant into the market for XML product
stacks. GoXML(tm) Foundation integrates three core products, GoXML(tm)
Search, GoXML(tm) Transform and GoXML(tm) DB all of which were designed for
high performance and high scalability. According to The Aberdeen Group,
"GoXML(tm) Foundation ushers in a new wave of maturing and practical XML
products - and it raises the bar for all products that follow."
