Arbortext and Comtech Services offer June Workshop on XML-Based,
Single-Source Multi-Channel Publishing

“Developing Single-Source Strategy for XML Authoring, Content Management
and Dynamic Web Delivery”

Ann Arbor, Mich, June 5, 2001 – Arbortext, Inc., the only global
provider of XML-based software for single source publishing to multiple
media types, and Comtech Services today announced they are co-hosting a
workshop designed to help organizations develop an XML-based single
source strategy for authoring, content management and dynamic web
delivery. Open to the public, the three-day workshop is scheduled for
June 26-28, 2001, at Arbortext’s headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Registration information can be found at
http://www.usabledesign.com/01seminars/01xy.htm.

“Organizations need to share information instantly with customers,
business partners and staff,” said PG Bartlett, vice president of
marketing for Arbortext. "By co-hosting this workshop with Comtech
Services, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with Arbortext
and Comtech, two leaders in the single-source arena, on how to develop a
system that fulfills this requirement.”

The workshop will examine the benefits of single sourcing through a
combination of interactive lectures and hands-on computer work.
Workshop attendees will create reusable modules of content using
Arbortext’s Epic Editor, store and manage that content through an
Arbortext adapter to Oracle iFS, and assemble documents using Epic
software for automatic publishing to multiple media types.

“We are thrilled to be co-hosting this workshop with Arbortext because
together we are able to provide the attendees with an intense, three-day
learning experience,” said JoAnn Hackos, president of Comtech Services.
"By providing hands-on computer work using Arbortext’s software and our
proven single source methodology, attendees will learn how to unleash
the power of implementing a single-source strategy throughout their
organizations.”
