XyEnterprise Announces New Release of Content@ Web

New technology layer offers robust Internet access and integration platform
for XML enabled content publishing solutions

READING, MA - June 18, 2002- XyEnterprise, the leading provider of XML
content management and enterprise publishing solutions, announced today the
availability of its new Content@ (con-tent-a) Web interface to its Content@
XML content management software. Content@ Web offers browser interfaces to
Content@’s robust XML re-use, versioning, metadata and workflow functions as
well as a development environment for integrators, resellers, and OEMs. The
Content@ Web capabilities expand the impact of Content@’s single source
multi-channel delivery capability for customers and partners in the
technical documentation, financial, e-Learning, and other publishing-related
industries.

For End Users

Content@ Web offers significant out-of-the-box functionality for Web user
access to Content@ projects and workflows, XML data, and search and document
management functionality. It enables broader user participation in the
“create, manage, and deliver” cycle for business critical content. End users
involved in content creation, approval, and delivery can use Content@ Web to
access documents or content components, view and edit data and metadata,
participate in publishing workflows, and manage the delivery process for
standard and custom publications. The Content@ Web browser interface offers
metadata and full-text search, unique views based on users and roles, and
detailed versioning and history tracking. With its unique work-in-process
and workflow, business process information is available via the browsers of
users and managers of the documents and content active in the system.

For Developers and OEMs

Content@ Web offers a rich customization environment for enterprise
integration and product extension. Content@ Web can be used as the
development interface for OEM and integration partners to create their own
interfaces and product packages with access to core Content@ content
management functionality. Content@ Web, built using the Content@ API, offers
a JSP access layer that can be customized with XML, XSL, Java, and other
customization languages and tools. Content@ Web enables OEMs, enterprise
integrators, and Value Added Resellers to offer Content@ content and
document management, workflow, and search capabilities as part of their own
product or solution.

Richard Pasewark, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, XyEnterprise
stated, “Content@ Web offers customers and partners universal access using
standard Web interfaces to Content@ for content and document life-cycle
management. Content@ Web has been enthusiastically received by both
customers and partners who are using this capability to meet the demands of
real-world information re-use and delivery in creative ways. Content@ Web is
the basis for enabling partners and end users to better serve their
customers and markets.”
