Drake Certivo Introduces Newest Standards-based Education Courses
Niche Curriculum To Bridge Supply Chain Communications Gap

Newport Beach, Calif. - (Aug. 7, 2002) - Drake Certivo Inc., a global
provider of education, certification, compliance and services, today
introduced four standards-based courses to its e-business curriculum:
	*	eBusiness Standards and Standards Organizations - Intro.
Part I
	*	EDI to XML: Concepts, Components and Methods
	*	ebXML: Architecture and Business Processes
	*	Business Processes of CPFR®

Standards-uniform business processes that fuel efficiency-allow
companies to employ the Internet to compete, to thrive in the global
economy.

All courses are available immediately and range in price from USD
$695.00 to $1195.00.

The Drake Certivo curriculum is available in flexible customer-focused
formats: SCORM-compliant online courses, traditional classroom
instruction and facilitator-led training. Courses include
multimedia-rich content such as graphical representations, interactive
exercises, learning activities and self-assessments with scenario-based
questions. Flexible-format delivery enables organizations to select
educational products that best meet the needs of their businesses and
learning cultures.

"By providing participants with customer-centric educational
experiences, we're enabling them to walk away with tangible knowledge,"
said CEO Jeff Jochum. "Tangible knowledge delivers tangible results."

Once certain courses are complete, Certivo offers certification
opportunities that provide recognition and verification of expertise in
key areas: e-business standards, emerging technology, business processes
and interoperability.

"This course roll-out phase perpetuates the momentum we've been
building," said CTO Jamie Graham. "With each development-and
specifically our standards education efforts-we remain committed to
driving global interoperability."

eBusiness Standards and Standards Organizations - Intro. Part I
This is the first module in a two-part series. The course provides
overviews of-and introductions
to-e-business standards such as EDI, XML, EDIINT (AS2), UML and PKI, as
well as introductions to associated standards organizations.

EDI to XML: Concepts, Components and Methods
EDI is here to stay. So is XML. This course cuts through the clutter and
shows how to leverage the two technologies for the most effective
trading partner communications. Material includes an introduction to
e-commerce, touching on models, components and operations; a discussion
on EDI and its standards, processes and security aspects; an
introduction to XML, XML e-business standards and components of XML
schemas; and a demonstration on how EDI and XML interoperate through
mapping and framework; and a supportive case study and scenario.

ebXML: Architecture and Business Processes
ebXML enables enterprises worldwide to conduct business over the
Internet using XML-enabled solutions. This course provides an overview
of the ebXML architecture and components, lays the framework for
planning and implementation and offers an integrated e-business scenario
through a high-level conceptual implementation process.

Business Processes of CPFR
This is the first module in a two-part series on the CPFR (Collaborative
Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) standard. CPFR was created by
the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards (VICS) Association and is
set of best business practices, adopted as standards, designed to create
and maintain collaborative trading partner relationships and agreements
while reducing inefficiencies within the supply chain. The course covers
supply chain management, an introduction to and transition of CPFR, the
nine steps of CPFR, the benefits of CPFR, as well as several case
studies of real CPFR pilots.

As the premier provider of the EAN.UCC XML Fundamentals courses, these
four latest offerings expand on the Drake Certivo curriculum, which
emphasizes standards syndication for better global business
communications.
