Subject: [announce] OASIS Member News: NerveWire Positions for Growth with KeyHires from Leading Consultancies

nervewire positions for growth with key hires from leading consultancies

...Adds Top Talent To Its Financial Services, Business Development, and
Solutions Delivery Organizations...

Newton, MA, August 20, 2002 - NerveWire, Inc., a management consulting and
systems integration firm focused on Collaborative Commerce, today announced
four new strategic hires from leading consultancies, including Accenture and
McKinsey & Company, to support its growth and further strengthen its
financial services, solutions delivery and business development
organizations. Chuck Dean joins as vice president of solutions delivery.
David Freese joins NerveWire as vice president and Midwest market leader in
support of market expansion and new business development. In addition,
Chief Business Architect Meg Whitman-Gorham and Senior Technology Architect
David Levine join the financial services practice.

"NerveWire continues to experience steady growth and sustained success even
as much of the consulting industry has suffered bankruptcies and massive
downsizing," said Tom Rodenhauser, influential consulting industry expert
and founder of Consulting Information Services, LLC. "NerveWire is a case
study in tempered transformation. During the boom, the firm could have
played the hyper-growth-to-IPO game and imploded. Instead, NerveWire stayed
focused and competes against the likes of BCG and Accenture."

NerveWire President and CEO Kirk Arnold said, "We are extremely pleased with
our financial performance this year. Despite very difficult market
conditions, NerveWire has held revenue steady, developed many new
relationships with clients and extended our partnerships with strategic
clients. This gives us the opportunity to hire talented new colleagues, and
add to the strong NerveWire team serving our clients and supporting our
business."

NerveWire's new key hires include:

Vice President of Solutions Delivery, Chuck Dean
As vice president of solutions delivery, Chuck Dean leads the firm's
solutions delivery organization by working closely with clients and project
teams to ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction. Dean brings a
unique combination of consulting and operational experience to NerveWire.
He has over fourteen years of consulting experience as a former partner with
Accenture, in addition to several years experience as a chief information
officer (CIO) and chief technology officer (CTO).

Dean joins NerveWire from Cornerstone Brands, a $500 million multi-channel
catalog retailer, where he was the CIO and lead e-business executive. He
was responsible for the rapid implementation of e-commerce solutions, while
aligning the technology organization and related spending with business
goals. Chuck implemented a shared services organization to support
Cornerstone's six different operating companies while overseeing a 125%
increase in e-commerce performance and an 80% reduction in related spending.

Previously, Dean held the position of CTO and vice president of operations
for the e-commerce division of CompUSA, a $6 billion consumer electronics
retailer. In that role, Dean created a new IT organization, e-commerce
business model, and dramatically increased customer satisfaction within a
six-month time span.

Additionally, Dean was a partner with Accenture, where his career spanned
fourteen years and several industries including financial services. While
with Accenture, he primarily focused on complex system integration working
with such clients as Fidelity Investments, John Hancock, UnumProvident, and
Kodak. He led several clients in delivering their first e-commerce
capabilities, integrating systems from acquisitions, implementing strategic
supply chain and customer support capabilities, and creating strategies for
supporting new markets. Overall, he delivered over $100 million in revenue,
created a National Data Warehouse practice, and oversaw the creation of a
regional solution center that supported the remote delivery of client
solutions.

Midwest. He also has responsibility for developing NerveWire solutions

strategy, merger integration, IT strategy, and operations redesign. With
over fourteen years of consulting experience, David has created
technology-enabled growth strategies, improved client profitability and led
large-scale change programs for numerous Fortune 500 firms including
Allstate, American Express, First Union, Goldman Sachs, and Lincoln
National.

Price Waterhouse, where he helped found the financial services e-business
practice; and at Ernst & Young, where he owned key account relationships and
