i2 Trade Service Selects XyEnterprise XML Content Management and Publishing
Solution

READING, MA - September 9, 2002 - XyEnterprise, the leading developer of XML
content management and enterprise publishing solutions, announced today that
i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ITWO), has selected XyEnterprise’s Content@
content management technology and XML professional publisher (XPP) software
to supplement the creation, management and publishing of  i2 Trade Service
print publications.

i2 Trade Service is the leading provider of content and pricing solutions
for the electrical, plumbing/PVF, HVACR, industrial and office products
industries. i2 Trade Service serves manufacturers, distributors and
contractors by providing both complete and accurate product descriptions, as
well as current pricing. i2 Trade Service selected Content@, to assist with
the quick compilation of catalogs for manufacturers and distributors, and to
allow distributors to automatically populate their business systems with
accurate pricing each week.

i2 intends to use XyEnterprise’s Content@ content manager to assemble
business critical documents in XML format. The Content@ system will be
integrated with the i2 content management process to automatically build
documents with information stored in Content@ and i2’s pricing database and
MRO database of over 5 million items. i2 also intends to use XyEnterprise’s
XPP (XML professional Publisher) software to automatically publish this
content in electronic and print format.

Summit, held in concert with the Seybold San Francisco Publishing
Conference. Don Lesem of i2 will present the solution overview as part of
“The New ‘Business’ of Publishing” session held on Monday, Sept. 9th, 3:30
p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
