Patent awarded for key technology component of the Nimble Integration Suite
Seattle, WA - October 22, 2002 -- - Nimble Technology, Inc. (www.nimble.com)
today announced it has been awarded patent No. 6,449,620. The patent covers
technology used in the Nimble Integration Suite, an XML-based data
integration software platform. The Nimble Integration Suite uses XML to
represent disparate data in a common format and create a unified view of
that data. 
The patent, entitled "Method and Apparatus for Generating Information Pages
Using Semi-Structured Data Stored in a Structured Manner", relates to
Nimble's unique method of transforming between XML data and relational
databases to efficiently use the power of existing sources of data.
"This is the first in what we think will be many patents concerning our
unique technology to integrate multiple disparate data sources," said Denise
