Vendors to Unveil New Solutions at XML Conference and Exposition 2002

More Than 50 Vendors to Showcase Offerings and Present Latest Innovations

ALEXANDRIA, VA (November 25, 2002) - The industry's top providers of
software, systems and solutions will showcase their latest innovations this
December at XML 2002, the world’s leading XML conference and exposition.
This year's lineup of XML notables includes sponsors Corel and Microsoft,
co-sponsor Adobe Systems, as well as Arbortext, Documentum, empolis,
Exegenix, Veridocs, XyEnterprise, and many others. Many participating
companies will also deliver technical presentations throughout the event in
the Vendor Track portion of the conference program.

XML Conference and Exposition 2002, produced by IDEAlliance, will take place
Sun., Dec. 8, through Fri., Dec. 13, at the Baltimore Convention Center, in
Baltimore, Md. The XML 2002 exposition will take place Dec. 10 through 12.

“This year's exposition features several companies that are new to the XML
Conference, as well as some that have returned after a few years’ absence,"
said Marion Elledge, Senior VP at IDEAlliance. "This shows a positive turn
in the IT industry and that XML continues to grow and play a vital part in
meeting today's business challenges.”

“This event is the premier forum for learning about the latest in XML
technology,” says Jon Parsons, director of Product Marketing with
XyEnterprise and a presenter at XML 2002. “For example, XyEnterprise will be
presenting two customer case studies that highlight the real-world ROI
benefits of our XML-based solutions.”

"We always find high-quality, well-informed attendees at IDEAlliance's
events," said Steve Downie, VP Sales and Marketing, Exegenix. "Their
practical focus ensures a high volume of prospects who are facing real
issues, looking for real solutions. We are excited about exhibiting at XML
2002 - with the burgeoning requirement for XML content conversion, it
promises to provide an ideal audience for our solutions."

"XML 2002 is recognized as a premiere showcase for the XML software
development market. Corel is proud to be sponsoring such a well respected
event," said Annette McCleave, executive vice-president of Marketing at
Corel Corporation. "Our years of experience with the IDEAlliance and this
conference and have consistently demonstrated that this is an ideal
opportunity for the open standards community, customers and industry players
to come together. Corel is looking forward to a great event."

"For emerging companies, XML 2002 is the place to see and be seen. It's
truly the hub of the XML world," says Nat Dunn, CEO of Veridocs. "That's why
we've targeted XML 2002 to announce the Beta release of our XMLdocs
product."

Featured once again on this year's Expo floor is the cutting-edge Incubator
Area, which showcases pre-released commercial tools, free tools, and
shareware tools. Users will have the opportunity to preview future products
and free tools, while developers capture their feedback. By providing this
venue, IDEAlliance is helping to nurture the XML tools of tomorrow.

“Many of the key players in XML will be represented at the conference,
talking about and showing the latest XML solutions,” says Lauren Wood, Chair
of the Conference. “Attendees will be able to see and evaluate the new tools
and services, speak to senior architects and designers, and find out what
the pieces are that they need to put together to solve their business
needs."
