Arbortext Honored by Michigan Economic Development Corporation

ANN ARBOR, Mich., December 12, 2002 -- Arbortext, Inc., the only global
provider of XML-based multichannel software that enables the creation,
editing and publishing of information to Web, print, CD-ROM and wireless
from a single source of content, was recently honored by the Michigan
Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).

Arbortext was honored in the information technology category because of
its product innovation, its success in the marketplace and its
contribution to Michigan’s economy.  The ceremony took place on Monday,
December 9, 2002, at the Michigan State Capitol Rotunda.

“These awards honor Michigan’s ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit,” said

companies and individuals honored has led to the successful
commercialization of groundbreaking university research helping the state
