Republica Launched New Versions of X-Fetch Products

X-Fetch AgentServer 2.0, Wrapper 2.2 and Performer 2.2 now available

Republica Corp., which specializes in XML-based data processing, has today released the new product versions of the software components that are included in the X-Fetch Suite. X-Fetch Wrapper and X-Fetch Performer software are now available in version 2.2 and X-Fetch AgentServer is available in version 2.0. 

X-Fetch AgentServer 2.0

X-Fetch AgentServer is an extremely efficient and scalable integration platform enabling rapid WebServices development. The new version features a wide support for Web Services: Existing resources, such as applications, can be published over the Internet in a matter of minutes. The new version enforces to make loose integration concepts, which reduces the risks involved with system integration processes. New included user interfaces simplify and enrich the user experience in operating and configuring X-Fetch AgentServer.

The new Web Admin GUI is a modular, browser based user interface focused on managing X-Fetch AgentServer from a standard web context. The Web Admin GUI serves in deploying agents as WebServices, managing agents, change server configuration parameters and inspecting of objects. This interface of X-Fetch AgentServer enables comprehensive use of resources in different runtime environments. Integrated applications and solutions can be presented as Web Services or simply be managed through the Web Admin GUI's HTML pages. Offering Web Services over the Internet with X-Fetch AgentServer is exceptionally easy because providing the services does not require any additional programming: This can be managed via true point-and-click operation.

The newly included Agent Chainer is a browser-based user interface for enabling easy execution of sequences of agents. With the Agent Chainer a multitude of agents, each performing a separate task or a set of tasks, can be placed into a synchronous invocation pipeline with property forwarding capabilities. In other words, it executes the agents in a sequence and allows properties from different agents to be linked automatically, thus further simplifying agent management in complex processes.

X-Fetch Wrapper 2.2

X-Fetch Wrapper is a data conversion tool for converting any data into a user-defined XML format. The new version 2.2 includes added features that strengthen X-Fetch Wrapper's already powerful conversion capabilities. The main focus on the development work has been on effectiveness and ease of use.

Improved is the possibility to create multiple result XML documents from one single source file, thus eliminating the need for several conversion runs on the same input for different destination applications. Also new is the commandline support for batching of input files into the conversion process. Customers can now easily convert large amounts of source files to XML documents automatically without the need to write a separate script to automate the process.

X-Fetch Performer 2.2

X-Fetch Performer is an XML-processor for developing stable and efficient XML applications that are platform-independent. With X-Fetch Performer the user can read, filter, validate, query, modify, build and route XML data using standard interfaces (including DTD, XML Schema, XPath, SAX and DOM). X-Fetch Performer's stability and superior performance are gained by patent-pending technology and proved by nine separate benchmark tests, the results of which are collected in a benchmark report that can be obtained from Republica's WebPages.

The new version of X-Fetch Performer now contains a point-and-click user interface for running and studying 11 example applications. User manuals, technical specifications and FAQ's describe the product in full detail, explaining how to plug X-Fetch Performer in your software.
