IDS Scheer Announces First ARIS Business Process Excellence Road Show,
February 25 in Philadelphia
Upcoming Road Shows Planned for Washington, DC and New York City

Berwyn, PA (February 11, 2003) - IDS Scheer, Inc., the leading
provider of business process excellence services and tools, today
announced that it will kick off the first of three ARIS Road Shows in
Philadelphia on February 25. The theme of the show will be "Business
Process to Application," highlighting how organizations can better
understand their internal processes, and build critical business
applications accordingly. Mr. Jens-Hagen Syrbe of Interactive Objects
(iO) Software, a leader in the field of IT architecture, will be a
featured presenter at the event.

The ARIS Road Show offers local area businesses an opportunity
to get an up-close look at the ARIS products, and find out more about
the importance and benefits of business process excellence for their
organizations. Mr. Syrbe will demonstrate how ARIS has been used in
conjunction with iO's ArcStyler software to help customers model
existing business processes, and automatically generate up to 60-80% of
the code needed to develop optimal business applications. There will
also be an ARIS practice demonstration, highlighting design,
implementation, and controlling with the ARIS Toolset.

"By bringing the ARIS Toolset on the road, we can provide businesses
with an in-depth look at this award-winning product, and how it
contributes to business process excellence for companies around the
country," commented Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, CEO of IDS Scheer, Inc. "We
are very excited for the opportunity to have Mr. Syrbe share his
perspective on this topic for our first event in Philadelphia, and
demonstrate the real-world benefits his customers have achieved through
successful business process management."

The ARIS Road Shows will continue with events in Washington, DC on March
6, 2003, and in New York City on March 21, 2003. The Washington show
will focus on "Business Process Excellence," featuring presentations by
Professor August-Wilhelm Scheer, Founder of IDS Scheer AG, and Dr.
Mathias Kirchmer. Additionally, Professor Thomas Gulledge, professor at
George Mason University's Department of Public Policy and Engineering,
will discuss "Enterprise Architectural Planning in the U.S. Defense
Department." In New York, guest speaker Ronald Snee, Principal
Consultant at the international management consulting firm Tunnell
Consulting, will discuss "Business Process & Six Sigma." All three
events will include hands-on ARIS practice demonstrations.

There is no fee to attend the event. To register for any of the three
road shows, contact events@ids-scheer.com or call 1-800-810-ARIS.
