Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health And Republica Sign Service Agreement

Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and Republica strengthen their co-operation.


The Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and Republica Corp., announced today that they have entered into a Service agreement that will cover both information service and software project areas.

"By signing a service contract with Republica, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health aims at ensuring its' network service development continuity. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health will launch a new innovated website in May for which Republica has delivered and implemented XML conversion technology. Republica also delivered document templates and a Style Checker Tool which are needed in a new service for content production", says Iiris Sauli, Web Editor-in-Chief at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

"The Public sector in Finland can be seen as a world wide pioneer when it comes to developing and implementing next generation e-Gov solutions. Republica is already implementing the first ebXML solutions, which we believe will be a 'de-facto' standard framework in future government solutions.
