Tenth Annual Workshop on SELECTED AREAS IN CRYPTOGRAPHY
August 14 & 15, 2003
Carleton University

The Workshop on Selected Areas in Cryptography (SAC) is an annual conference dedicated to specific themes in the area of cryptographic system design and analysis. Authors are encouraged to submit original papers related to the themes for the SAC 2003 workshop:

*       Design and analysis of symmetric key cryptosystems.
*       Primitives for symmetric key cryptography, including block and stream ciphers, hash functions, and MACs.
*       Efficient implementation of cryptographic systems in public and symmetric key cryptography.
*       Cryptographic solutions for Web services security.
*       Cryptography and security of trusted and distributed systems.
 
In addition to talks from accepted submissions, SAC 2003 will include seminars from invited speakers:
*   Nicolas Courtois, Schlumberger Smart Cards
*   Virgil D. Gligor, University of Maryland

This year's workshop is chaired by Mitsuru Matsui from Mitsubishi Electric, Japan, and Robert Zuccherato from Entrust, Inc., Canada.
