Call for Participation

Fall '03 Solution Architecture Bootcamp
"Methods and Tools for Developing Actionable Architectures"
Oct. 28-29, Crystal City Hilton, Pentagon City, VA

The SecurE-Biz Executive Program Committee invites you and your organization to participate in the Fall '03 Solution Architecture Bootcamp scheduled for Oct. 28-29 at the Crystal City Hilton. Due to the overwhelming success of our Spring ‘03 SecurE-Biz Program (www.SecurE-Biz.net), representatives from OMB, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Homeland Security, the Community Management Staff CIO, and industry are working together to organize this Fall Solution Architecture training program to better enable the roll out of the new OMB Reference Models and interconnecting government/industry frameworks. ICHnet.org will also be hosting the fall OASIS e-Gov Technical Committee following this two-day bootcamp.  This is a follow on to Spring SecurE-Biz Program that OASIS co-sponsored, and received one of the coveted EA Leadership Awards (grads to John Borras).

This intensive two day program is being structured to support the educational needs of agency senior management AND technical support staff including support contractors who are responsible for implementing the President's Management Agenda. Detailed Reference Models, Frameworks and SDLC roadmaps will be assembled and incorporated on a master training CD for all attendees and sponsoring organizations.

The SecurE-Biz Solution Architecture Program will be presented as a series of step-by-step sessions that include specific guidance, implementation examples and critical success factors for implementation success. Never before has such a comprehensive EA education program been assembled to meet the needs of the community.

A wide range of Enterprise Life-Cycle topics will be covered in two parallel tracks to meet the diverse need of both technical and business executives.

1: CxO Track: EA as a lifecycle Business Transformation tool

2: Solution Architecture Track: Architecture Frameworks for Implementation Success

These parallel tracks will provide a technical and management perspective of the key topics to provide the entire management team with the necessary tools and training required to transform their architectures into implementation reality:

So please join and help us make Fall ’03 Solution Architecture Bootcamp a valuable learning experience, and get your programs to green.
