Details of the inaugural OASIS Open Standards are now
available. This event is aimed at promoting dialogue and
direction to Asia Pacific organisations implementing global
e-business standards. Topics such as ebXML, security, Web
Services and many others will be discussed in detail by
standards experts from around the world.

Confirmed to deliver the opening keynote presentation is
OASIS President and CEO, Patrick Gannon. A widely recognised
authority on electronic business, Patrick has considerable
experience providing guidance to commercial and government
leaders through his roles with both OASIS and the United
Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

Sharing the keynote session is the General Manager of
Development and Architecture for MSI Business Systems, Ram
Kumar. Involved with OASIS for the past four years, Ram
founded and chairs the Customer Information Management
Technical Committee that has developed global standards for
management of customer data. Ram also contributes to other
OASIS technical committees such as UBL, UDDI, eGovernment
and Election and Voting Services.

In addition, more than 25 speakers from Australia, Europe,
Asia and the USA will be at the conference to present on
standards, recommendations and specifications from OASIS,
Liberty Alliance, the W3C and others.
