XML 2003 Announces Expanded Program Presentations Added from Adobe, Amazon.com, Arbortext, BEA, Microsoft, Stibo, Sun; Premier XML Industry Event Slated for Dec. 7-12 in Philadelphia Alexandria, Va. - Nov. 3, 2003 - IDEAlliance, a leading trade association dedicated to fostering XML and other information technology standards, today announced presenters for the “product presentation” and “late-breaking news” sessions at XML Conference and Exposition 2003, being held Dec. 7-12, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pa. The annual event is the world’s largest XML trade conference. Jeffrey Barr, web services evangelist with Amazon.com, has been added to the program to present a case study titled “Amazon.com - Open for Innovation,” which explores how Amazon.com is enabling developers to innovate with Amazon.com data and features retrieved from their databases in real-time using XML over HTTP. Another featured presenter in the product presentation track is PG Bartlett, vice president of marketing for Arbortext.
