Berwyn, PA (January 7, 2004) – IDS Scheer North America, the leading provider of business process excellence services and tools, today announced keynote speakers for its annual ProcessWorld 2004 conference at the Loews Hotel in Miami, Florida, April 25-28 -- Dr. Ravi Kalakota, CEO and co-founder of E-Business Strategies, and Dennis Moore, Senior Vice President, GBU xApps at SAP Labs.  In addition, Prof. Dr. August-Wilhelm Scheer, Founder of IDS Scheer, and Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, CEO, IDS Scheer North America , will be featured speakers.

ProcessWorld 2004 is a three-day event that brings together business process experts from around the world to discuss business process innovation. The conference provides a forum for decision makers, technical strategists and business process improvement executives to learn, understand and collaborate on effective business process management.  Keynote sessions and workshops provide insight into new concepts and applications that are shaping the future of business process management.

As Senior Vice President, GBU xApps at SAP Labs in Palo Alto, California, Dennis Moore is one of the pioneers and leaders of SAP’s xApps efforts.  SAP xApps packaged composite applications offer a breed of information technology that enables continuous improvement and innovation.  Mr. Moore’s presentation entitled “Continuous Innovation,” will focus on how composite application architectures offer many advantages for the enterprise -- rapid implementation of new processes, flexibility for process evolution, and better support for and management of user processes. 

Dr. August-Wilhelm Scheer will discuss various forms of innovation and how they influence approaches, methods and tools for business process lifecycle management. Dr. Mathias Kirchmer will explain trends in business process automation. He will demonstrate how new automation technologies allow the combination of best and next business practices.
