Calvert School Education Services Selects Arbortext to Publish Curriculum Ann Arbor, Mich., February 24, 2004 – Arbortext, the leading global provider of automated publishing software, today announced that Calvert School Education Services has selected its software to create and deliver customized lessons, workbooks and other materials to students, educators, parents and administrators. As a result, Calvert expects to expand course and service offerings. Using Arbortext software as the foundation, Calvert School is planning to create a Student Information System (SIS). Expected to be operational later this year, the SIS will enhance the students’ academic experience by providing online access to complement Calvert’s curriculum. “We are excited to work with Arbortext and believe their demonstrated expertise in automated publishing will quickly improve Calvert School’s operations,” said Jean C. Halle, President of Calvert School Education Services, which provides curriculum to homeschools, charter schools, cyber schools and other educational institutions. “The new systems will allow Calvert to expand the course and service offerings we provide.” “Arbortext is pleased to be working with Calvert. When students, educators and parents are able to support each child’s unique strengths, that child’s academic experience is more rewarding,” said Raymond Schiavone, President and CEO for Arbortext. “Arbortext’s ability to automate the process of assembling and publishing content makes our software especially useful to school systems that must publish fresh and accurate educational materials to a number of audiences with varying needs. We look forward to working with Calvert as they continue to enhance their comprehensive education services offerings.” About Calvert School Since 1906, Calvert School, a not-for-profit organization located in Baltimore City, Maryland, has been providing students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade with a complete, integrated, and accredited curriculum that leaves no gaps in instruction.
