Arbortext Appoints Albert Leong as Country Manager for Asia Pacific
Region
Continues global expansion into Singapore, South Asia Pacific and
Greater China

ANN ARBOR, Mich., September 13, 2004 - Arbortext, the leading provider
of Enterprise Publishing Software, today announced the appointment of
Albert Leong as the Country Manager for the Asia Pacific region. In
this role, Mr. Leong will be based in Singapore and responsible for
developing and executing plans that help Arbortext achieve its growth
objectives in South Asia Pacific and Greater China. Two key elements of
the plan center around this region's integrator channel partnerships and
extending the company's support to new and existing customers.

Mr. Leong brings with him senior level industry channel experience and
excellent sales and customer support management. He joins Arbortext
after serving as President and CEO for SAP Learning Solutions. In this
position he was responsible for business development and channel
management for Asia Pacific region, including Japan, Australia, and
Greater China. Prior to this he has 14 years of regional experience in
ERP and e-Business solutions implementation and channel management for
SAP, IBM, and NEC Singapore.

Commenting on his new position, Mr. Leong stated, "I am excited to join
a company recognized as the market leader. Enterprise Publishing
initiatives are critical to organizations that must create and publish
large amounts of products and customer specific information while also
reducing total publishing costs and improving customer satisfaction.
This is especially true in Asia Pacific where local organizations need
to compete with more established players in the global economy on costs,
quality and service excellence. I look forward to being part of the
Arbortext team as we help these organizations improve their publishing
processes."

This region offers Arbortext new market opportunities as the need for
XML-based enterprise publishing grows. Organizations are finding it
increasingly important to provide customers with localized software,
support and services. Current global customers currently using
Arbortext software include AstraZeneca, Fujitsu, Hitachi Information
Systems, IBM, Mitsubishi, Nokia, Ricoh, and Toyoto Motor Company.

"Albert brings great experience, management and leadership strength to
Arbortext," said Graham Freeman, Vice President of Worldwide Channel
Partnerships. "He has demonstrated strong focus on customer
satisfaction, product quality and channel management, all of which are
critical to building the Asia Pacific region to become one of
