DATAPOWER'S WS-SECURITY INTEROPERABILITY SHOWCASED AT GARTNER'S
APPLICATION INTEGRATION AND WEB SERVICES SUMMIT

DataPower Joins Elite Group of Industry Leaders Including IBM,
Microsoft, Systinet, RSA Security & Verisign to Demonstrate WS-Security
OASIS Standard Interoperability in Real-world Scenarios
 
CAMBRIDGE, MASS - April 20, 2005 -- DataPower(r), the leading provider
of network hardware for securing XML Web services, announced today it
will showcase the DataPower XS40 XML Security Gateway(tm), the most
widely deployed XML Web services security gateway, at the Gartner
Application Integration and Web Services Summit in Los Angeles,
California, this week.

In addition, some of the largest organizations in the world, including
BEA, IBM, Microsoft, Orcale, RSA Security and Sun, will join DataPower
today to demonstrate WS-Security OASIS Standard interoperability. The
OASIS InterOp, taking place Wednesday, April 20 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.
PDT at the Westin Centry Plaza Hotel, features DataPower and multiple
implementations where messages protected using WS-Security are exchanged
in a variety of real-world scenarios.

WS-Security offers a trusted means for applying security to Web services
by providing the necessary technical foundation for higher-level
services.  In October, 2004, DataPower become the first XML Web services
security provider to demonstrate real-world Web service deployments with
customers utilizing WS-Security and SAML for federated authentication
and authorization across domains to partners and customers.

Today's news further showcases DataPower's high-end security
