DATAPOWER'S CTO TAPPED TO LEAD SOA PANEL DISCUSSION AT OASIS SYMPOSIUM 2005 Application-aware Networking Leader Moderates Discussion of Vertical Industry Experts from Boeing, Cendant, General Motors, JPMorgan Chase and Lockheed Martin on Strategies & Challenges of SOA CAMBRIDGE, MASS - April 25, 2005 -- DataPower(r), the leading provider of XML-aware network hardware, announced today that Eugene Kuznetsov, DataPower's CTO, recently named one of Top 25 most influential CTOs in the IT industry (See: DataPower's Eugene Kuznetsov named a Top CTO for His XML-Aware Networking Vision), has been selected to lead the discussion at this year's OASIS Symposium on the topic of Service-oriented bArchitecture (SOA) today at 3:15 p.m. CDT at the New Orleans Marriott, New Orleans Louisiana. Eugene will moderate a panel of distinguished industry experts and end-users of SOA gathered from leading companies including Boeing Company, Cendant, General Motors, JP Morgan Chase, and Lockheed Martin. Service-oriented architectures (SOAs) are considered by many to be the solution for a myriad of challenges faced by today's IT organizations. This panel of users will share overviews of their companies' SOA plans and initiatives, as well as address the current challenges faced in understanding, creating and implementing an SOA strategy, and how the various industry vocabularies impact these plans. Select topics for the panel will include SOA business benefits, SOA strategies, IT governance and SOA security.
