Subject: OASIS Member News: ebMS Adoption Grows--Interoperability Certification Critical

Drummond Group Launches Sixth
ebMS Interop in September

Adoption Grows for ebMS—Interoperability Certification Critical

Fort Worth, TX—July 17, 2006—Drummond Group Inc. (DGI) today announced plans
for the sixth ebXML Messaging Service (ebMS) interoperability certification
this fall. Interoperability certification assures software customers that
products meet the standard and work together, thereby reducing
implementation time and enabling product choice by features and price.

ebMS 2.0 is an important standard that enables secure and reliable internet
data interchange and is complementary to emerging Service Oriented
Architectures (SOAs).

ebMS adoption is growing in the automobile sector, as well as in the U.S.
public health industry, major government projects in the United Kingdom, The
Netherlands and Norway and energy trading applications across the European
Union. In DGI’s ebMS 2005 test round, seven software companies demonstrated
their products’ interoperability and were certified.

“Interoperability certification is one of the critical catalysts for the
adoption of ebMS v2.0,” said Rik Drummond, DGI’s CEO. “Industry users
understand the link between trusted B2B communications and software
certification: Software products have fewer bugs and interoperate more
smoothly.”
