Limitations Abound in Web Services B2B Integration; 
Drummond Group's Interoperability Certification Tackles Business Process

Fort Worth, TX-Aug. 1, 2006-Drummond Group Inc. (DGI) today announced a new
Web Services (WS) B2B interoperability certification test program designed
to expand the choice of interoperable products while lowering users'
implementation costs and enabling commerce between industries. DGI, a global
leader in B2B software testing and certification, will launch vendor-neutral
certification testing this fall on WS standards that contain the critical
features of secure messaging.

"Companies looking to implement Web Services B2B now are facing similar
hurdles that corporations faced 10 years ago with VANS-costly integration
and limited vendor choice and options," says Rik Drummond, DGI's chief
executive officer. "The promise of Web services is that it can be reused for
internal processing, external communication and application integration to
reduce support and development costs. DGI's interoperability certification
will play a significant part in fulfilling that promise of business process
integration."

DGI will facilitate interoperability testing and certify software products
around three new WS-I profiles: Basic Profile 1.2, Reliable Secure Profile
1.0 and Basic Profile 2.0. The testing will be done in a phased approach
with the first test focusing on WS-I Basic Profile 1.2.
	
DGI works with global software products and standards and is experienced in
dealing with the complexities of B2B interoperability. DGI has extensive
experience with a variety of web services protocols including SOAP, having
tested ebXML messaging since 2001. AS2 certification, one of the most widely
adopted messaging standards in B2B today, is also led by DGI.
