Subject: Deadline Approaching: Submit a WS- and/or SOA-Related Presentation for the Open Standards Forum Today!

Open Standards Forum
“Enabling Transitional Government through Web Services and SOA”

29-30 October 2007
London, United Kingdom
http://events.oasis-open.org/home/forum/2007

Time is running out to submit a presentation – call for presentation deadline is 13 July.

At the core of many practical implementations that aim to deliver on the vision of "transformational government" are open standards and interoperability specifications. Open standards for information exchange allow government agencies to integrate systems provided by different vendors, built over many years, based on evolving technologies, architectural concepts, business processes and requirements. Standards also permit governments to connect more easily to their citizens, to businesses, as well as internationally to other governments.  The 2007 Forum Programme Committee invites proposals for presentations and panel sessions that present these new standards and demonstrate their added value to a wide audience.  The topics addressed by successful submissions include, but are not limited to:

·         Web Services Standards and Interoperability

·         Secure Web Services

·         Web Services and Messaging

·         Transactional Web Services

·         Orchestration and Choreography

·         Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures

·         Web Services Interoperability

·         Interop Demonstrations

·         Case Studies

Please visit http://events.oasis-open.org/home/forum/2007/ for information and the link to the calls for presentations where submissions are made electronically for the programme review committee.
