designing, or deploying an SOA system. Produced by the OASIS open standards
consortium, the event features insightful presentations on the Business
Process Execution Language (BPEL), Service Component Architecture (SCA),
Service Data Objects (SDO), WS-Transaction, and related standards. 

Open Standards 2008 will address the various technical and business facets
of composability in SOA. It's an opportunity for both researchers and
business practitioners to state their challenges, best practices and

obstacles.
