The State Grid Corporation of China has built the first Smart Grid Demonstration District in China. This demonstration district presents the latest research achievement of smart grid, including 9 model projects and 4 demo projects. The 9 model projects are smart substation, distribution automation, power quality monitoring, power usage information collection system, energy storage system, new energy integration research, failure report management system, V2G and G2V, Smart Building/Home. 4 demo projects are smart dispatch system, smart transmission, Information platform, and visual display.
