WS-I Steering Committee Special election now open

The 2012 WS-I Steering Committee Special Election is now open.  Votes will be
accepted until 9PM (US-EST) 26 July 2012

One candidate seek your vote to serve on the Steering Committee,
with one seats available to serve until the election cycle of
December 2013.

Gershon Jannsen [A]

All Qualified Electors, shown on the Member Section Roster [1] as
Voting Member are eligible to vote.

With one candidate running for one seat, we will not use the normal STV [2] voting mechanism.  Instead, I ask that you simply vote in favor of the candidate if you choose to do so.

Votes must be submitted by email [3]   

Results will be announced shortly after the election closes and the
selected candidate will take their seat at the next scheduled
Steering Committee teleconference.
