OSLC Steering Committee Nominations open

The newly formed OSLC Member Section has one seat on its Steering
Committee available for nomination and election.

This seat was held available to allow for nominating  new members and
those not represented in the initial Steering Committee.  The winner
of the election will hold their seat one year at which time the seat
becomes a two-year seat for reelection.

Nominations will be accepted through 16 July.  If sufficient
candidates are identified to hold a contested ballot, it will open on
18 July.  Any member of the Member Section may make nominations, any
member of the Member Section not already represented on the Steering
Committee may be nominated.

Nominations should be sent to nominations@oasis-open.org  Nominees
must, by email to the same address, accept the nomination and provide
a brief message to confirm their acceptance, qualifications and
commitment to fulfill the Steering Committee obligations.

election process or your participation in the OSLC Member Section in
OASIS.
