Good morning Ray & all,

Well, morning here anyway. I just saw your message and it prompts two thoughts.

First, just a note on policy - I think you're referring to the OASIS web site below, yes? Assuming so, then yes, everything the TC does is public and that's by design. OASIS TCs operate in the open; it is one of our core values. TC email archives, documents, etc etc - all are fully visible to all of OASIS and to the public.

Second, regarding TEKOM, the TC is free to set up a work group to work group liaison if that would be useful. It is described in the OASIS Liaison Policy at https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/liaison#tcliaison. Generally the way this is accomplished is that a TC member who is also a member of the other organization volunteers to act as the liaison and the TC approves - obviously with the other side desiring a liaison as well. We've deliberately kept this simple to do so that TCs can form liaisons without having to jump through a lot of hoops. All we ask is to be notified and to have your liaisons posted to the TC web page.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

/chet

Hi all,

I want to post a report of my meeting, this morning, with the TEKOM standards committee, but I have noticed that ALL our documents are shared with the general public and are available from public web page. I didn’t think that was our intent, so maybe Rhonda or Farad need to review the permissions on the site - right now the public can see our meeting minutes, and everything. We also share all our documents with all of OASIS.

I don’t think my report should be public, and as it’s a small document, I’m attaching it here. However, I think we really need to control access in a more selective way on our home page.
