Welcome aboard.  Let me give you a summary of the current status.

You are joining at a time that the committee members feel that the work is essentially complete, but the specifications need to be made fully accurate.  We have implemented the protocol, and had public demonstrations of the protocol.  But we have trouble making the XML Schema entirely correct.  It appears there are different theories on how to make the XML Schema, and different tools give different answers.  We are trying to get to the bottom of this.

We would welcome your support and participation.  Particularly, if you would like to look at the specification, review it, and review the XXL Schema in detail that would be very welcome.  We are not interested in getting more idle members at this time, but if are interested in participating by actually helping on the specification, we could advance you to a more complete member.

All of the document are available on the public documents list, so start with the most recent copies there.  If you would like to discuss things on the phone, I would be happy to arrange a call between us.

I am replying to an email concerning my membership of the asap technical
committee.  I am the Primary Contact for Badja Computer Systems (aka Badja
Consulting) for OASIS.

Please be aware that I wish to continue my membership of this committee.
My current status is 'join' as I have been unable to determine the process
of completing the joining process.

As far as I am aware, the asap TC has not held any mettings for me to
attend, and so allow me to complete the joining process.

Could you please clarify the process for me to upgrade my membership of
this TC to full participation.
