RECHARTERING AND PRACTICAL BDX ISSUES

OASIS will transfer the chairpersonship from BDX to BDXR. There were no objections to Kenneth Bengtsson continuing the role as TC Chair.
Sven Rasmussen volunteered as TC Secretary and was elected without objections.
The rechartering of the TC is hereby completed.

DigitPA, an Italian government agency, has reaffirmed their participation in the BDXR TC and is currently in the process of joining OASIS for this purpose.

TC SCHEDULE FOR ONLINE AND FACE2FACE MEETINGS

TC online meetings will take place biweekly on Wednesdays 1600 CET. Next meeting scheduled for 16 May 2012. Alfa1lab will sponsor a GoToMeeting facility. Kenneth will add the standing biweekly meeting event to the BDXR calendar.

It was discussed to have a TC face2face meeting back to back with the UN/CEFACT Plenary meeting in September. There is an effort within UN/CEFACT to create a proposal for a “Reliable business exchange across borders” project with substantial interfaces to the BDXR work and with good possibilities for collaboration. A decision for the TC face2face meeting will be made when more details are available about the September UN/CEFACT Plenary meeting.

RESUBMISSION OF PEPPOL SPECIFICATIONS AND OTHER BDX CONTRIBUTIONS

Klaus Vilstrup Pedersen stated that PEPPOL specifications will be resubmitted to the new BDXR TC in accordance with OASIS requirements, and will upload the documents to the TC group page.

It was discussed whether discussions made on the BDX mailing list constitutes submissions. It was generally accepted that all documents submitted to BDX must be resubmitted to BDXR. The documents in question are submissions from Pim van der Eijk related to European e-delivery convergence. Pim will resubmit these documents to BDXR.

DISCUSSION OF INITIAL REQUIREMENTS + PLANNING OF TC TASKS AND DELIVERABLES

Presentations were made giving an overview of original PEPPOL requirements and an initial PEPPOL use case document. Kenneth and Sven will submit the documents to the TC group page.
Susanne Wigard will at the next TC meeting present requirements of e-CODEX and will, prior to the meeting post some considerations to the TC mailing list to start off the discussion.

It was discussed that there are several discovery models and technologies available, and members of the TC agreed to consider all available options equally and without bias. It was agreed that discovery is of high priority and importance to the work of the TC. Kenneth will write some considerations for SMLP to the TC mailing list and Dale Moberg will at the next TC meeting present an overview of other discovery models.
