Subject: Dynamic Discovery Proof-of-Concept

Hello,

I have uploaded to https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=49651&wg_abbrev=bdxr (and attached for convenience) a description of the dynamic discovery proof-of-concept that I presented last month in the BDX TC.  The proof-of-concept showcases the BDX metadata location, SMP and CPP specifications and applies them to several technical discovery use cases.

This work is an elaboration of:

-  A discussion document on discovery requirements, presented to BDXR in January 2013 and attached to the following email:
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr/201301/msg00001.html

-  An earlier document on dynamic discovery and service metadata, presented to BDXR in Oktober 2012 and attached to the following email:
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr/201210/msg00009.html

- The presentation slides, previously uploaded as:
https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=49198&wg_abbrev=bdxr.
The demonstrated scripts and underlying libraries, some sample metadata and a copy of the attached documentation are all publicly available under the EUPL open source license from the e-CODEX GIT:
https://secure.e-codex.eu/gitblit/summary/research%2Fbdx%2Fddpoc.git

The CPP samples in the PoC used are based on the latest draft of the CPP v3.0 XML schema, which has some four-corner delegation enhancements and is available from:
https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=49199&wg_abbrev=ebcore-cppa

Kind Regards,

Pim van der Eijk
