Subject: RE: [bdxr] Groups - BDX-Location-v1.0-wd04 uploaded

Hello Dale,
Thanks for uploading the BDX location spec, here are
some comments:
- Front page, notes this spec is related to CPPA3
but the references section has only a reference to CPA2.
- The indentation of the bibliographic references in
sections 1.2 and 1.3 looks weird (in OpenOffice 3.3).
- Section 1.2, should SML be moved to the
non-normative references?
- Conformance section, the discovery protocol
defines an interaction between a discovery client and a discovery
server. This section looks to
define conformance of discovery service consumers/clients only.
Should there also be a conformance clause for discovery service
providers/servers? Obviously any DNS server that can serve NAPTR records
would be conformant..

Working draft 4 of
BDX-Location-v1.0-wd04 has reworked conformance sections, an added security
considerations section, revised use case discussions, and an appendix
illustrating core conformance implementations. All agreed sections and
bibliographical apparatus are in place.
Section 2.2.1 needs discussion of
some proposed new resolution of issues and some suggestions concerning intended
use of U-NAPTR with differing web interaction frameworks.
