Dear Maarten

You are more welcome than welcome to send us your comments whenever you want. We might even be able to make changes to the next public review document, if we get your comments in good time before our voting meeting the week after the next.

Best regards,

Kenneth

Dear Kenneth and OASIS BDXR team,

Thanks you for the comment resolutions.

We would like to provide feedback to some points in the resolution log.

Should we do this now or wait for the new draft SMP 2.0 to be released for public review?

Kind regards,

Maarten

Dear Maarten and Adrien

Once again thank you for your comments to the SMP 2.0 draft specification. The TC finished processing the comments we received during the public review, and have been recording each comment and their resolution here:

https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=64525&wg_abbrev=bdxr

We are finalizing a new draft for SMP 2.0, which we expect to submit to OASIS in two weeks for a subsequent public review. I will send the link once the public review is initiated.

Thanks for your help and input, and please let me know if you have any questions!

Best regards,

Kenneth

Subject: [bdxr-comment] Invitation to comment on Service Metadata Publishing (SMP) Version 2.0 - ends August 24th

OASIS members and other interested parties,

OASIS and the OASIS Business Document Exchange (BDXR) TC are pleased to announce that Service Metadata Publishing (SMP) Version 2.0 is now available for public review and comment.

SMP v2.0 describes a protocol for publishing service metadata within a 4-corner network. In a 4-corner network, entities are exchanging business documents through intermediary gateway services (sometimes called Access Points).

To successfully send a business document in a 4-corner network, an entity must be able to discover critical metadata about the recipient (endpoint) of the business document, such as types of documents the endpoint is capable of receiving and methods of transport supported. The recipient makes this metadata available to other entities in the network through a Service Metadata Publisher service. This specification describes the request/response exchanges between a Service Metadata Publisher and a client wishing to discover endpoint information.
