Subject: Biometric Consortium Conference (BCC) 2006
At our meeting yesterday, I mentioned the Biometric
Consortium Conference and wanted to provide some additional information about
this event. It is the largest biometrics conference of the year and is
being held: 19-21 September 2006 The website is: http://www.biometrics.org/bc2006/ This year, there will be a panel on “Biometrics, XML,
and Web services” that will include a presentation on our project
(BIAS). This panel is scheduled for 9am-12noon (break inclusive). Below
is the tentative lineup of presentations for this panel: 1. 'Why biometrics people should care about SOA &
