In lieu of yesterday’s cancelled meeting, I’m providing the below information.

Regards,

- The INCITS BIAS public review closed on Monday, 9/17. The only comments received were from OASIS. INCITS M1.2 will meet next Tuesday, 25 September, to dispose of these comments and decide next steps. It is likely given the few comments that it will be forwarded to INCITS for publication.

- The editors have been working on the v0.9 messaging protocol – specifically on updating the WSDL. As a result, they’ve identified a number of decisions that need to be made regarding different implementation options. The plan is for this list to be refined and distributed, with a meeting setup to decide on each item.

- Sample implementation. At this point, it doesn’t look like Purdue will find a student/group to work on it this semester. I am visiting the campus next week and will try find out more.

- Status of previous action items:

· (Mike) Generate list of known issues/exceptions in code base candidate for reference implementation. Investigate what format/language the code is written in.

Mike has reviewed the existing code and plans to remove a few dependencies before making it available.

· (Cathy) Post BIAS fact sheet.

· (Cathy) Get PR comments from INCITS prior to next OASIS TC meeting, if possible.

· (Cathy) Post second call/reminder for comments on INCITS document.

· (Ramesh/Luther) Provide recommended workplan milestones to Cathy.

· (Cathy) Issue a call for comments on the WSDL 2.0 issue. Coordinate with Jamie for wider distribution.

Our next meeting is scheduled for 10/24. Given the need to review the editor’s issues list, we may need to schedule another meeting before then. Stay tuned.
