I am fine with what is written, but I wanted to raise a couple of points for consideration for our scope. Quibbles perhaps, but I thought I should bring them up. BIMA is the Biometrics (plural) Identity Management Agency, while EBTS stands for Electronic Biometric (singular) Transmission Specification. Shouldn't the TC name be plural? Also, we use text in the document that seems a bit limiting for a TC that covers all of biometrics: - "biometrics and biometric operations over a service oriented architecture" - "biometrics in a service-oriented architecture" When I consider other trends, such as cloud computing and Big Data analysis, I wonder if we shouldn't generalize the word "architecture" to "environments". We seem to lock ourselves into SOA, though we never use that abbreviation. Nits: Probably need a hyphen in "service oriented". Drop the comma and blank in "authentication, ."
