The OASIS Biometric Services (BIOSERV) TC has closed

On the confirmation by the TC Chair, the OASIS Biometric Services (BIOSERV) TC has closed.Â

The OASIS BIOSERV TC was chartered to define, enhance, and maintain open standards to facilitate the use of biometrics and biometric operations over a service-oriented architecture, such as web services. 'Biometric Identity Assurance Services (BIAS) SOAP Profile Version 2.0' and 'WS-Biometric Devices Version 1.0,' both Committee Specification 01, were approved and published by the TC in July 2017.ÂÂ

As is standard OASIS policy, the archives of the Technical Committee will remain publicly visible on TC's web site at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/bioserv/.Â

The TC email list will be closed but the archive will remain available at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bioserv/. The comments email will remain open and will be accessible at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bioserv-comment/.Â
